MMT's Official Base of Operations

Welcome to the headquarters of MekkMUGEN Technologies. This is where the likes of Ultimate Vixen and Heroes of Majesty originate. Even though this site will showcase information and screenshots, I will not be providing download links of any kind; the refusal to do this is not only for my web host (which disallows the presence of such files in their hosted sites), but for the MUGEN community as well, as having a download link for what I would like to call "Data Compilation Games", or DCGs for short, in a compressed file would be an act of warehousing, which is a no-no for any web site whatsoever. So please, do not ask me to apply such.

However, just because I have no intention of letting others download MMT products from the site, doesn't mean I have no intention of offering any. Simply contact me, and I will use this website to send whatever you want.

Okay, I've rambled for long enough. Before I show you the games, I suggest that you know about the very program they all run on: MUGEN. MUGEN is a 2D fighting game engine that allows one to create a two-dimensional versus fighting game, like Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Guilty Gear, and Western-World favorite Mortal Kombat. After my brother discovered this groundbreaking program within the duration of my tenth-grade high school education, I began working on the original Heroes of Majesty. When my bro downloaded a screenpack on which to develop an SNK-themed DCG (because he used an SNK-themed motif), I used it myself for the sequel. The idea of creating my own interactive game series (and a computer game series of only one genre at that) captivated me so much that I kept developing DCGs while my brother only ended up having concocted three DCGs - the one SNK extravaganza, and two incomplete entries respectively centered around "Capcom vs. SNK" and comic book heroes from Marvel and DC Comics. Needless to say, I eventually create HoM's "sister" series (female prominence pun intended), Ultimate Vixen, which - for the heck of it - has an alternate title for Japan, "Bishoujo Burn".

Now, I'm finished running my mouth (or should I say running my keyboard) about MUGEN and my own use thereof. Ladies and germs, the very imagination I conveyed into digital existence!

Heroes of Majesty 2: Malice in the Palace

The sequel that caused the series' character roster to skyrocket.

Alternate Japanese Name - Heroes of Majesty 2: Kareha Aku wo Mawashi Ta! Kusanagi Kyo! ("He Turned Evil! Kyo Kusanagi!")

Plot: Seven years pass, and though Akumavania is long gone, Geese Howard's vengefulness isn't. Using a relic from the decimated castle, he calls forth an equally ominous palace and brings some old enemies to his side. However, an attempt to enslave one Kyo Kusanagi gets botched and Kyo himself becomes the boss, kicking Geese out of his own makeshift lair. On the bright side, Marvel comics icons and even a Kyokugen practitioner from the future drop by to give the six Akumavania veterans a hand against this new threat.

Heroes of Majesty 3: The Age of Rugal

Third installment, new villain.

Alternate Japanese Name - Heroes of Majesty 3: Geese Kare Fukkatsu Saseru! Rugal Bernstein! ("Geese Resurrected Him! Rugal Bernstein!")

Plot: After the evil force that consumed Kyo Kusanagi was vanquished and the man was himself once more, Geese eventually got wind of seven mystical orbs known as the Dragon Balls. He took some time to do research on and then gather these orbs and summoned the Eternal Dragon, Shenron. This gave Geese two wishes - in his case, one to return a man named Rugal Bernstein from the dead, and one to merge Akumavania and Reppu-Ken Palace into Castle Bernstein, named after the man he so recently reintroduced to the mortal plane. Thanks to this dastardly use of the Dragon Balls, the Heroes of Majesty, with the help of their allies - more of which they receive - must now combat the terrors that lurk into this new, hellish castle, lest the streets of Majesty City perish into an oblivion that makes Hades itself resemble Paradise.
